Author description

Peter Slater is an ornithologist, wildlife artist and photographer. He has won numerous awards for his photography and in conjunction with son Raoul has put together the photography for a huge number of books about Australian birds. Peter is the author of one of the most authorative bird books in circulation today: Slater's Field Guide to Australian Birds.
