In April 1900 Indy Stafford an 11 year old boy dreams of escaping the plague-ridden streets of Sydney to mine for gold that will surely change his life. An encounter with a dying stranger gives him the chance of a real life adventure to find the Dragon's Eye opal. Accepting the challenge Indy is thrown into a world of fear and intrigue. He must somehow outwit his adversary the arrogant and wealth George Miller. In a fraught and frantic race Indy is desperate to beat George to locate the opal. Nothing is easy and he must face his deepest fears and unravel a hidden puzzle before his quest is done.
