Description

A #1 New York Times BestsellerThe book that inspired the Oscar-winning filmA thrilling tale of betrayal and revenge set against the nineteenth-century American frontier, this is the astonishing story of real-life trapper and frontiersman Hugh Glass -- a remarkable tale of obsession, the human will stretched to its limits, and the lengths a man will go to for vengeance.

Reviews

The deep wilds of the west in the early 19th Century were a dangerous paradise, beautiful and deadly in equal measure, and Glass's struggle across that vanished landscape is an epic that Punke tells with absolute conviction. This is a story that truly shows us the real strength of vengeance, and how it can lead a man in a quest for survival. - Andrew, The Book Grocer
