Summer Gillett is an Author and artist, she was inspired to write Beneath the Turquoise Waters when her daughter was first learning to read. Her passion for the environment and for animal rights made her subjects of a dugong and a sea turtle starting out in life a natural choice. Summer is a self-taught artist currently living in Bali with her daughter Jade.
